Rare Kokeshi Vintage Japanese Handmade Wooden Doll

Shinonome 'Kokeshi' is a traditional Japanese handmade wooden doll. Possibly handmade in the 70's. The have no arms or legs, just a simple trunk & head with a few painted lines to make up the face. They have been crafted for more then 150 years as a toy for children. Its just a beautiful little simple doll. Beautiful painting & craftsmanship on the kimono. It is signed in red on the bottom. It has a slight mark on the helmet (please see picture). Otherwise in great condition. It stands at approximately 5 1/2" Tall 2 1/2" Base diameter All items are sold as is, no returns so please look at all pictures carefully.
